Fr. John-Benedict Weber, O.Carm., a retreat master and trained spiritual

director, ministered previously as a pastor, in secondary education, and as a

campus minister.  For eight years he served the Carmelite Order in North

America as its delegate to the enclosed Carmelite nuns as well as to the

hermits of the Order. During this same time period Fr. J-B was also the

delegate of the Province of the Most Pure Heart of Mary to the Carmelite

Laity for four years. He comes to Mount Carmel after two years in retreat

ministry at Carmel Retreat in Mahwah, New Jersey. Fr. J-B did his graduate

studies in theology, in church history and in spirituality.
