Fr. Martin Nyland, B.A., M.Div., EFT III (Ultimate Practitioner). Top trained in the field, Fr. Martin Nyland is an Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) Practitioner and expert; he is passionate in his work and his mission to spread the news about this truly remarkable and phenomenal healing aid. He graduated from Northwestern High School (Stratford) with Honours and pursued studies at St. Peter’s Seminary and the University of Western Ontario (B.A., M.Div.) and post graduate studies in Israel. Over the years, he has helped people from a wide variety of walks of life, including senior citizens, being Group Home Director (L’Arche Association: of both Stratford and Edmonton for the Developmentally Handicapped), and as an ordained pastor for over 17 years. He has been involved in ministry to children, youth, marriage preparation and to the dying. He has his Black Belt in karate, enjoys his private helicopter license, travel, wellness issues and most of all, helping people find wellness and healing. It is his firm conviction that wellness is possible for people to achieve. Years ago he stumbled upon EFT and benefitted from it immensely as a client. Upon returning to wellness, his intrigue compelled him to become trained so he, too, could help others as he was helped with this entirely drug and needle free healing aid.
He clearly now centers a significant amount of his focus on EFT. He has conducted countless EFT seminars, retreats and workshops, including presentations made to the Critical Incident Stress Management Team (C.I.S.M. Oxford County), the staff of the Canadian Mental Health Association (C.M.H.A.) of Oxford County, Family Services of Perth/Huron Counties, parishes and specific Church groups and many other interested groups. Over the years he has employed EFT to assist a wide range of people from children to teens to the elderly. He applies EFT with great confidence to a wide range of issues and, among other things, has assisted people with issues of addictions, depression, anxiety, fears and phobias, panic attacks, migraines, self esteem, smoking, pain, blocks to success, weight loss, children’s issues, stuck shame and anger issues, grief and more. Fr. Martin also facilitates group work with EFT, and a local Medical Doctor now refers his patients to him for EFT assistance.
EFT has a very respectable Board of Advisors, is employed worldwide by Medical Professionals (doctors, psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses) and others alike, and is believed by some to some day become a ‘household name’.
