Love for oneself in God’s image and love for the vulnerable and the rejected is our gift as we help to create welcoming Church communities. The retreat will include reflections shared by the facilitators, time for quiet reflection, group sharing, personal and communal prayer, healing ritual, and Sunday Eucharist. This Retreat is open to those of all Christian denominations who are seeking a deeper and more intimate relationship with the person of Jesus Christ. Retreat directors are Father Jim Schexnayder, a priest of the diocese of Oakland, California, and Resource Director for the National Association of Catholic Diocesan Lesbian and Gay Ministries, and Linda Labelle, a parent and the Diocesan Coordinator of Faith Development and Evangelisation for the Diocese of Sault Ste.
